MADO FPS-Systems (Finger-Protection-System)

At IFFA 2019 in Frankfurt/Main, we presented our new FPS system (finger protection system) for band saws. The function of the FPS system can be divided into two functional areas (detection and band braking).

When the image processing system detects e.g. a blue glove, the integrated brake system receives a signal pulse and the braking of the saw blade is initiated. After braking, the machine can be started again as usual. Renewal of the saw blade is not required even after repeated braking procedures.
